The salt flat from above
Day one covers the classics of the salt flat: the Train Cemetery, Colchani, Playa Blanca, Incahuasi Island and the sunset. The night is spent in a salt hostel in Coquesa or Tahua, at the foot of the Tunupa volcano.
Day two offers what no other format does: the pre-Columbian mummies of Coquesa, over a thousand years old, and the climb to the Tunupa lookout (~4,200 m), with the whole salt flat at your feet.
